Diamonds

Diamond is a mineral composed of carbon, just like graphite and lonsdalite. It is the hardest natural material (hardness of 10 according to the Mohs scale).
The term diamond comes from the Latin diamas, -antis, under the influence of the Greek words starting with dia-, themselves derived from the ancient Greek adamas: "indomitable": inflexible, unshakable, (hydrocarbon) tricyclic of formula C10H16).
Diamonds are made of carbon. They are formed when the latter is under extreme temperature and pressure conditions, between 1,100 ° C and 1,400 ° C for temperature, and for pressure, between 4.5 GPa and 6 GPa, which corresponds to depths of about 150 to 1000 km in the Earth's envelope. Most diamonds crystallize between 150 and 200 km deep.
Most diamonds are mined from kimberlite found in the oldest regions of the continental crust (at least 1.5 billion years ago) .Diamonds have been known to be only one particular form of the carbon, physicists and chemists have synthesized it.
This marvelous precious stone will in any case delight you on a magnificent set, ring, earring or simply as a financial investment.
The diamond will remain eternal, so it is an opportunity to afford eternity, the time of a lifetime.
